Library instruction & Information Literacy

Integrate information literacy and advanced research skills directly into your courses. Our librarians collaborate with faculty to design and deliver targeted instructional sessions that help students effectively locate, evaluate, and utilize academic resources for their assignments and research projects.

Instructional formats available

  • Course-Specific Sessions: Tailored presentations delivered during your scheduled class time (available in-person or via video conference).

  • General Workshops: Specialized sessions covering broader topics such as citation styles, literature reviews, database navigation, or research data management.

  • Asynchronous Modules: Pre-recorded tutorials or guided digital exercises that can be integrated into your online course shell.

Submission guidelines

To allow adequate time for curriculum customization and librarian scheduling, please submit your request at least two weeks (14 days) prior to your desired session date. Please provide a copy of your syllabus or assignment prompt during the request process to help us align the session with your course goals.
