External Learning Tools (ELT) refer to digital platforms (e.g. Cengage, McGraw Hill, Pearson, etc.), instructional materials, and educational networks used to supplement classroom curricula or individual skill development.
Request a New External Learning Tool:
- Confirm the External Learning Tool you want isn't already integrated with Brightspace.
- If the External Learning Tool is not on the current list, you may submit a request by filling out the "Request External Learning Tool" form.
- If the tool is part of an ebook adoption, the instructor is responsible for coordinating with the campus Bookstore for inclusion in the Ace-It Book Bundle for undergraduate courses.
- New External Learning Tools must pass a security and privacy compliance review prior to approval and integration.
- Set up the External Learning Tool in your Brightspace course. For undergraduate courses where an e-book with publisher resources has been adopted, use the BNC Course Materials Tool.
