The following information about each individual is shared in the My UIndy Directory:
- Preferred first name
- Last name
- UIndy email address
- Photo, if available
By default, directory photos are prefilled with the ID card photo or a photo that was submitted and used in the previous My UIndy Directory (prior to July 28, 2026).
The following information about employees, if available, is also shown by default:
- Phone number
- Office building and room
- Job title
- Department
All My UIndy account-holders can add additional information they would like shown in their record by updating their My UIndy profile. The information includes but is not limited to previous education, hometown, work experience, languages spoken, hobbies, and skills. This information will only be accessible within My UIndy.
Individuals who have completed a
FERPA Opt-out Request will not show in My UIndy directory search results. Their My UIndy profile will only be visible to My UIndy system administrators.
