Streaming video services

This service assists faculty, staff, and students with securing and accessing digital video content for instructional and research purposes. The library licenses content from major academic streaming platforms (such as Academic Video Online, Films on Demand, ICE Video Library, and Kanopy) to ensure copyright-compliant access for physical and online classrooms.

Available services include

  • Course Media Requests: Requesting the purchase or licensing of specific documentaries, educational films, or feature-length movies required for an upcoming syllabus.

  • Licensing Renewals: Re-activating expired streaming film licenses for recurring academic terms.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Reporting video playback errors, broken streaming links, or platform access restrictions.

Submission guidelines

Because video licensing agreements and technical provisioning can take time, please submit course-related requests at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to the date the film is scheduled to be viewed. Please provide the exact title, director, release year, and the course code for which the video is required.
