Use this service to learn how to use (see Self Help links below), or get technical support for mobile printing on campus. Mobile printing allows students to email documents (e.g. PDFs, Word files, images) to mobileprint@uindy.edu from personal laptops, tablets, or smartphones directly to the campus printing system without downloading or installing traditional print drivers.
Once submitted, you can log into any designated print release station (such as Krannert Memorial Library, the Hub in Schwitzer Student Center, or a campus computer lab) and swipe your UIndy ID card to release and print your documents using your allocated student print balance.
Print Release Station Features:
- Wireless Printing from Personal Devices: Email documents directly from MacBooks, Windows laptops, iPads, iPhones, or Android devices while connected.
- Web Print Documents: Accepted file formats include but are not limited to PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPT, PNG, JPG.
Before You Submit a Support Ticket:
- If your document fails to print through mobile printing, your file may have too many images or your PDF may not be compressed . You can print these files directly from a lab computer to the printer in the lab.
- Check your print balance on your UIndy ID card to ensure you have enough funds. You may add funds online or through the self-service station in Schwitzer Student Center.
