University Archives

This service provides researchers, faculty, students, and external scholars with managed access to the library’s rare books, unique manuscript collections, historical photographs, and institutional records. Due to the rare and fragile nature of these materials, special handling protocols and scheduling guidelines apply.

Available research and archival services

  • Research Appointments: Schedule a formal visit to the archival reading room to consult physical materials that cannot be removed from the facility.

  • Digital Reproductions: Request high-resolution scans or photocopies of specific archival documents or photographs for publication, classroom use, or research (subject to copyright and preservation restrictions).

  • Donations & Transfers: Inquire about the transfer of departmental institutional records or initiate the evaluation process for donating private historical collections.

Submission guidelines

Research visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance to allow staff to retrieve materials from secure storage. Please specify the collections, box numbers, or historical subjects you wish to consult when submitting your request.
